About

 

Irina Jesionowski is a Certified Russian Court Interpreter and a contract simultaneous interpreter with the U.S. Department of State.  Ms. Jesionowski has served as a conference and court interpreter, as well as translator in the U.S. since 2001.  She also oversees interpreter education and performance evaluation programs. From 2008 to 2011, Irina had served as a Senior Curriculum Designer and Content Developer at Interpreter Education Online.

Originally from Russia, Irina holds M.A. in History, Sociology, and Linguistics from Volgograd State University. She earned Certificates in Legal Translation from the University of Chicago, in Conference Interpreting  from the Cambridge (U.K.) Conference Interpretation Course, and in Healthcare Interpretation from the University of Massachusetts.

In the course of her professional practice in the United States, she worked with hundreds of international visitors, provided thousands of interpretation hours, and translated hundreds of thousands of documents both from and into English.
